Can Prednisone Cause Soreness In The Back, Neck, Breast And Shoulder?

I was hospitalized very recent due to an acute asthma attack. I am currently on prednisone and inhaler. Yesterday night, I begin to feel discomfort. Today, my whole top back, neck, side of my breast, and left upper arm has been feeling sensitive sore muscles. Is the prednisone effecting me and should I call my doctor?
