Hi doctor, I have been diagnosed with adenemayosis. Since,I want to delay my pregnancy for another year my doctor suggested to start using yasmin at a stretch of 3 months and then break. However, after the break I got severe bleeding and it did not stop. After,I was given Primalout N and I was taking both pills together. Now I have stopped Primalout N after 3 months and I got my periods. But,I am stil continuing my yasmin.is it okay if I start again Primalout N if this period also didnt stop?Kindly advice as I am suffering because of the adenemayosis. Thank you
Treatment of adenomysis depends upon patient's wish for pregnancy. Definitive management is to remove uterus which is not advised to women who desires pregnancy. so in such patients intrauterine danazol or levonogetrel releasing devices are inserted till she wants to delay pregnancy.
So I advice don't take both the drugs you are taking. Consult another gynecologist and get proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards Dr. Hiren
