Can Primolut N Tablet Cause Any Side Effects?

Hi , I have been suggested to take Primolut N 5mg for 14days 1 tab twice a day as its been almost 2months since I got my periods. But I m scared that I might become very fat. Will there be any kind of side effects for taking this tablet for 14 days? I really am very scared to take this hormonal tablet. I have never taken this kind of tablet before. Kindly suggest me whether its safe for me to go ahead and take it for 2weeks without becoming fat? And after that from next month will my periods cycle become normal? Because I dont want to get used to these tablets.
