Can Primolut Be Taken To Stop Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

Hi , I am 49 years old, 5ft tall and weigh 55 kg.My period just started, very slight bleeding, I wasn t expecting it for another week and as it is a bit of an inconvenience for me to get it early when not expected I have some primolut n on hand so have just take one and will continue with the full dose of 1 x3 times per day, will this help to stop my period or even make it lighter now that it has already started. Thankyou

Yes, this would stop the period or make it lighter/last for a shorter period of time.
Normally to delay the period, it should be taken a few days before the expected period but it should still help you if taken now.
