Can Prodep And Lanozep Be Taken For OCD During Pregnancy?
I am 30 Years old. I have been taking sizodon, Prodep 20mg and Lanozep for my OCD problem. Now I am conceived for 2 months. After 7 Years first time I am getting pregnency. psychiatrist doctor advised to take this tablets and said these tablets would not affect you or baby in anyways. But my Gynecologist advised not to take these tablets. I am confused now. If I try to stop this medicine I am not able to sleep in night and urine is coming frequently. Its really irritating me. Please help me to come out from this problem. What will I do?

Hi, I understand your concern Prodep is not known to have any serious side effects in fetus . You can safely take it. Though not confirmed conclusion, Lanozep is found to have facial or cardiac malformations in fetus. So you should consult the psychiatrist for continuation/ change of the medicine. Thanks.
