Can Progesterone Delay Menstruation?

I am 40 years old. I had one hatching blastocyst transferred and a fresh blastcyst transferred on day five. I am currently 6 days post transfer and I have my first beta tomorrow. I have slight breast tenderness, have had on and off cramping (not sure if it s my period coming, noticed the montgomery tubercles too. But I am not sure if these are symptoms of the progesteone. What are my chances these are early signs of pregnancy? Does the progesterone stop my period from coming?

Yes , progesterone does affect menstrual period's regularity. One must have experienced irregularity after taking emergency contraceptive pill , as it also contain high dose of progesterone. It mostly delays period and might cause intermenstrual bleeding.
