Can Promethazine Be Taken During Pregnancy?

My daughter is 10 weeks pregnant and very sick. Morning sickness but ant hold anything down. Went to Urgent Care and theyIV hydrated her and gave her a medication called Promethazine. Is this safe to take while pregnant? What holistic approach would you recommend? Thanks

"As"per your clinical history is concerned there is no harm to baby in promethazine at all. Take all medications as per your Doctor's advice, please discuss with treating doctor about [doxylamine + pyridoxine] 2 caps at bed time and if vomiting is severe then add one extra in day time. Drink plenty of fluids.
