Can Rablet, Buscopan And Voveran Be Taken For Acute Stomach Pain And Constipation?

Hello. For the past few days, I have been having an acute stomach ache. I have been having trouble in passing stool. After almost 3 days without poop and on failure of milk of magnesia and cremalax, I had to resort to enema. After a couple of days, again pooping stopped and due to unbearable pain, I was hospitalised last night. The doctor prescribed Gutclear syrup and I was able to pass stool today. I was also injected with Taximo, Rablet, Buscopan and Voveran. I am not feeling any pain as of now. But is this treatment sufficient? I have had a problem with IBS for quite some time now.

HI there
thankyou for choosing HCM
in order to help out your constipation associated with IBS, please follow the following measures.

1.Increase fiber in your diet, this includes eating more vagetables and fruit, plus eat wholegrain bread and rice, also try to eat dried/fresh prunes 2-3 per day as they open up and loosen bowels, you can also eat pomegranate, cranberry juice is another option to keep your bowels running. also please gradually increase fiber in your diet so that your stomach can handle it efficiently as for example ist start eating whole grain bread,2 days later add 1-2 fruits like pomegranate ,prunes or peach, after another2-3 days add to above mentioned cranberry juice and so on.

2.try to do stress management , with exercise or yoga whatever is suitable for you.

3. you can take syrup lactulose daily for 2 weeks, this will help to keep your bowels active.

4.most important keep yourself hydrated, i.e drink atleast 15-18 glasses of water everyday. as water is most important factor to prevent constipation.

5. for stomachaches you can take tablet buscopan or Imodium for 5-7 days.
stop it afterwards and see how much improvement do you find in yourself.

if you have any questions feel free to ask
kind regards
