Can Reglan Be Taken Safely By Someone With Gastroparesis?

Hi, I am 59, weigh 170 lbs, 5 feet 2 and I have gastroparesis. I have had it about 20 years. I have had diabetes about 5 years. At first was misdiagnosed. Then when diagnosed, it was with a gastro emptying study and I was told not worry about it and was not treated for it. I used Reglan about 5 years ago and had side effects and was told to stop the medicine. Since August, I have been nauseous just about every day and vomiting some days. I was sent through gall bladder testing and then back to all the gastroparesis testing. They said there is not any other medicine but Reglan to take. I am afraid of it because of its side effects that I had before. What can I do now?
