Can Ring Guard Be Used For Fungal Infection In Genital Area?
i am suffering from fungal infection in my private area. initially it starts with a small pustule and it enlarges slowly. initially i won t be paining but later on when it starts ejecting yellow color thing (sometimes red color liquid) , it is becoming painful. that pustule is like circular skin of hard in nature. if i touch it, i am feeling the toughness of the skin in that area. i started applying ring guard, fourderm from cipla from last one day. is it harmful ??

Hi,
It seems that you are having fungal infection with secondary bacterial infection.
When infection is there only antyifungal cream might not be so effective.
Go for one course of antibiotic for 3-5 days to control infection.
Then go for one course of oral anti-fungal medicine like Flucanozole 150 mg .
Continue with anti-fungal cream locally.
Keep local part clean dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
