Can STD Be Contracted Through Unprotected Sex?

I recently had intercourse with my partner, unprotected, we have both recently been STD checked with all negative results. Although today my inner vagina is very swollen and sore between the clit and ureathra, and it seems to have white puss like bits inside, what could this be?

Hello,

If you both were tested negative for STD then there was no risk in continuing without protection. Knowing that your vagina is swollen and secretions are present then it is a sign of infection. Do a vaginal smear and get checked for STD too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
