General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have high blood pressure and high cholesterol, then you should change oil every 3 months. Safflower oil, sunflower oil, etc., should be used. But these oils also should be used minimally. You are taking medicine for blood pressure and cholesterol, there has been no interaction found between drugs and safflower oil. So don't worry. Also start some exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat
