Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sudafed is a decongesent, whereas dayquill contains paracetamol, phenylephedrine (decongesent), and dextromethopram (cough suppressent).

As per your history, you have cough and you can go for dayquill.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abubakar Siddiqh
