Can Sudafed Cause False Positive Result For Methamphetamine?
Can Sudafed causes false positive for Methamphetamine at two pills a day each pill is 120mg so that s 240 mg a day for four days straight from what I read online it says it all depends on the dosage .I took some round red ones a couple months ago and it came up as amphetamine but I looked them up and they were only 30mg each

Sudafed contains a decongestant pseudoephedrine.
It is possible that it may cause a false positive reaction in some persons.
The initial test is a screening test but they can do another test GC-MS that would clearly determine if methamphetamines are present.
This test is done to check for possible false reactions, it would give an accurate result.
