Can Sudafed Tablet Be Taken During Pregnancy For Headache?

Hi I m in my first trimester of pregnancy and I have an excruciating headache I also have been diagnosed with graves disease prior to becoming pregnant. My question is I cannot find my advil so I was going to take 2 sudafed for he pain is it safe to do so?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Sudafed contains active ingredient 'Pseudoephedrine'. It is indicated that it is not safe to be consumed in first trimester pregnancy and with thyroid disorders.
Instead, you may take Paracetamol 650 mg for headache, which is supposed to be safe. If the headache is caused due to sinus and nasal congestion, you can do steam inhalation to overcome nasal congestion.
