Can Sunolut Be Taken During Pregnancy?

I am planning to take SunoLut to delay my period while I ll be going for my pilgrimage. At the same time I am worried that I might be pregnant but I can only find out after I missed a period. Will SunoLut have any side effects on a pregnancy? Thank you.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Sunolut is norethisterone which is a progesterone. Norethisterone causes virilization of a female fetus if taken in high doses in pregnancy. The dose taken for delaying the periods is low, but still it is advisable to avoid taking norethisterone during conception and pregnancy.
I would suggest you to not to take this drug if you have a doubt that you have conceived.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
