Can Symbicort Be Taken While Suffering From Osteoporosis?

On it s package insert, Symbicort warns that its side effects include loss of bone mass. Why isn t this listed on your webpage, or did I miss it? Since I have serious osteoporosis, I have not used the product, though my allergy doctors wrote me an order for it. Thank you, MCH

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the Budesonide ( Symbicort ) is associated with certain bone disorders where there are associated with lesions of calcium and phosphorus homeostasis.

But the isolated osteoporosis is not the sole contraindication to consume the same.

Kindly discuss the issue with your doc before commencing the therapy.
