Can Tacrolimus Ointment Be Used On Discolored Lips?
Hi Doc.! I am 26 years old male and I am getting treatment for vitiligo since 10 months. White spots were very few and small. Like two on neck and 3 - 4 very small on right elbow. Now all these are fully cured but recently I am noticing my lips are turning very pinkish from inside (color of my lips are brown as I am not very fair). What to do? should I apply Tacrolimus onintment on lips too?

Hi,
Definitely, you can apply Tacrolimus lotion multiple times in a day on vitiligo patches on the lips. It may take few months for the recovery. Continue to apply it.Oral treatment may be tab Trioxsalen tablet daily in the morning.Avoid rubbing of the lip by teeth,tooth brush or tongue cleaner.
