Can Tarana Tablets Have Adverse Affect On My Menstrual Cycle?

Hi am 28 years old just delivered a baby 9 months back. My menstrual bleeding was excessive and I already have PCOD. My doc has prescribed me Tarana tablets for 3 cycles. After starting the pills I feel extremely hungry and I have gained weight too. Is this normal?
