I have nerve damage in my arm. The pain usually generates from the top of my shoulder and increases down my arm into my left hand , thumb and fingers. I am not a diabetic. It is a burning sensation, it tingles and also can be quite painful at times. It is sporadic and can not occur for several months or I could have it daily for a few days up to a week. I only lay on my back. If I lay on my left side it occurs more often, most likely due to the pressure of laying on my side. It there a vitamin I can take to alleviate the situation.
