Can Tegretol Taken For Seizures Affect The Pregnancy Test As I Have Missed Periods And Having The Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I take Tegretol for my seizures and there is a possibility that I may be pregnant, however, my doctor has done a blood test and a urine test and they both came out negative but I still haven t gotten my period and seem to have some pregnancy symptoms. Can Tegretol affect a pregnancy test?

You do not need to worry because tegretol do not interfere with pregnancy test(HCG)
Your periods can be late for any other reason like:
stress
change of weight
hormonal imbalance
