Can Trokendi Be Taken For Migraines?

I have been taking topamax for migraine prevention and recently complained to my physician about cognition and memory issues thinking I should stop the med. Instead of going off the topamax she is having me try trokendi which is the extended release. She indicates these side effects are less with it. Is this true or will I be disappointed?

Side effects like tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, tingling of the hands/feet, loss of appetite, changes in taste, diarrhea and weight loss may occur.

Kindly take the medication as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up.
