Can UTI Cause A Delayed Menstrual Period?

I had sex for the first time two weeks ago. We used a condom but he never was able to penetrate because he was "too big" and kept losing his erection. We did have foreplay but when he came it was no where near my vagina. Afterwards, I think I got an infection because my vagina has been swollen, itching, burning, and I've been urinating more. Also, I am a few days late of my period, and am in a panic. Could my possible UTI infection have caused me a delayed period?
