Hi,

Potrate MB6 syrup is a combination of potassium citrate and magnesium citrate, which makes the urine less acidic & thus helps to relieve the pain and burning sensation during micturition. It is also used to treat and prevent formation of stones. Urimax is also helpful in passage of ureteric stones out of body.

Studies have reported definite role of Urimax (Tamsulosin) resulting in higher expulsion rate and requirement of less analgesics, when used for ureteric stones. Therefore, the medicines prescribed to you, seems ok. However, still plenty of fluids intake is cornerstone of the treatment and particularly, you are also having kidney stones, therefore adequate flushing of kidneys with adequate fluid intake is helpful in passage of urinary stones of kidneys as well as ureters.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
