Can Urinter Be Taken For Prolonged Menstruation?

Is urinter pipemidic acid 400mg ok to take for prolong periods.
I have a re occuring urine infection which I cant seem to get r u d of.
Medication helps but re occurs every month or so.
I am a 61 year old woman withocd so my hygeine is spotless

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Urinater contains pipemidic acid 400mg. It is primarly indicated for Bacterial infections, Dysentery, Enteritis, Urinary tract infection, etc. However I don't think that it would help in prolonged menstruation. You should not use it for prolonged menstruation unless prescribed by a doctor.
I would recommend you taking Anti-inflammatory medicine like Tranexamic acid for heavy period. It would help to reduce length of periods & also reducing discomfort during your periods.
