Can Utovlan Be Taken To Stop A Menstrual Period?

Good morning. I am 50 years old and going away on holiday on Tuesday. I was going to start taking Utovlan this morning to stop my period whilst away. I got up this morning and have already started to bleed. If I start the medication now will it stop my period? Also, I have a period for a few days, stop, and then start again. Would I be better off saving the pills to stop this happening. Thank you.
