Can Utrogestan Be Taken For Irregular Menstruation?

Hi, I am 41 undergoing IVF treatments and I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. my Amh level was less than 0.1,,, after taking dietary supplement DHEA for 7 month my amh level rises to 0.17 ,my hormone levels are LH6.2u/l FSH 4.2u/l oestaradiol 916pmol/l,,, I understand the L2 is to high but this is down to dhea,, now, in order to get pregnant I need at least one healthy egg with is problem to retrieve, I am preparing my self for round 5 and up to now I had only one egg with stopped developing on day 2,,, I am experiencing missing or late periods, there for is problem to plan another round. My question is: Can I take UTROGESTAN talblets in order to get regular periods? Thank you

Hi,

Yes, taking progesterone for 10 to 14 days each month is likely to regulate the periods. It would be better if you visit a gynecologist and take it under supervision.
