Can Valtrex Cause Delay In Period?

i have been taking valtrex because i have recently found out i have herpes and i am 4 days late for my period. im not pregnant because since the last time my boyfriend and i have had sex, i have gotten my period. but im late this month. could the medication ive been taking caused this delay?
