Can Viberzi Be Taken In A Person With Gluten And Lactose Intolerance?
I need some help trying to make a wise decision about medicine my doctor wants me to take. What I really need is to find a doctor that can help me without medicine. any suggestions? He wants me to take viberzi. I have problems with my stomach/intestions. I cannot have corn, wheat, dairy, or any kind of citric acid, natural or other wise. I have very little food that I eat, and things are getting worse.
Viberzi (Eluxadoline) drug is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome associated with diarrhea. It works directly in your intestines to slow the movement of food during digestion.
There's no documented evidence of any harmful effects if it is taken by a person with gluten and lactose intolerance. Hence it can be taken safely while suffering from gluten and lactose intolerance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
