Can Voltaren Be Taken For Pain Around Wound After Total Hip Replacement?

29 days ago I had a total hip replacement. Some soreness around the wound but generally everything OK except yesterday I received very strong pain at the top of my inside leg. Was taking my usual med. 2 panadol Tabs every 6 hours to no avail. Took 1 Voltarran Tab 5 hours ago and went to sleep and woke up with the pain virtually gone. I have been warned not to take Voltarran on a regular basis but and then only in an emergency. What are your comments on this ?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, orthopedic replacement surgery is very painful (post operatively) and such pain always needs some potent analgesic, if you have taken the medicine which was instruction given to you to have this medicine in emergency so no need to worry about this, because that could be the emergency period, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
