Can Xanax Be Taken With Prozac?

I was drinking alcohol during the day yesterday (10 a.m. about 7, bachelorette party) and I have been extremely nauseous since. I am so anxious I cannot sleep and my stomach hurts terribly. I am prescribed .5 mg of Xanax as needed and am also on 20 mg of Prozac a day. Since I have not been drinking for sometime is it safe for me to take a Xanax to ease this horrible anxiety?

Hello,

It is not good to mix alcohol and Xanax. Anyway, I would recommend taking half a tablet of Xanax 0.5, which is quite a low dose.
