Can Xanax Cause Fatigue?

I am taking alprazolam as prescribed by dr. I thought it (Xanax) was for a gaseous stomach, not a relaxer. I used to take Nexium but Dr. changed me to alprazolam. I ve become a lot more tired in recent months and I have been taking it morning and night for some time! Thank you for your answer.
