Can Xanax Cause Hot Flush?

hello, my boyfriend just experienced a "hot flush" reaction from his Niaspan medication. He also took a xanax a couple hours later. The reaction occured about 20 mins after he took the xanax (0.05). Could the xanax have induced the flush reaction? Thanks Susy
