Can Yaz Birth Control Pill Cause Menstrual Irregularities?
I had sex on the 29/5 round about two weeks ago... I had it unprotected but it lasted for about 7 seconds because I didn t want the risk of getting pregenant to be bigger. Then I started my period on the 31/5 and started yaz birth control the next day and I am still on my period ( 11/6 ) and it s coming a bit heavier than light .should I worry and is it the pill giving me this ?. Please help ??
It was the improper start date of Yaz birth control (as it was second day of menses onset) responsible for irregular menstruation. Kindly finish current pack of Yaz, after 7 days of placebo or iron pill you will get regular menses and then start another pack from 5th day of menses to avoid any irregularities.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
