Can Zimig Cream Be Used For Acne Scars On The Face?

Hi initially my face gets pimples and then it becomes flat red colour and skin starts drying, and is peeled off as dry layers. Finally brown marks are left on my face I have brown spots on my face. Its not a fungal infection but can be bacterial infection Can i apply zimig1% cream on my face? Does it have any side effects on face?

Hi.
As per your case history of acne scars, my treatment advice is -
1. Zimig cream is an antifungal cream. So it is not useful for acne scars and pigmentation.
2. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
3. Apply a kojic acid cream like kojivit twice daily on acne spots.
4. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone, chemical peeling done by dermatologist.
