Can Zoloft And Metoprolol Tartrate Be Taken Together?
I have been taking generic zoloft (50 mg.) for several years now. Just recently my doctor prescribed metoprolol taratrate for irregular heart beat. I ask her if there was any interaction and she said no but when I filled the prescription, I learned there was. It was suggested to me that taking them 2 hours apart might help but I am still concerned.
Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
They can be taken on same day but it is better to take them apart usually we can give them to patients without any fear of complications interactions can be there but they are usually rare not very commonly happening usually patients are not affected and chances are further decreased if they are taken apart.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
Regards.
