Can Zopiclone Be Taken Prior To Having Blood Tests?

I have to have some blood test done soon and am terrified. Have been prescribed 10mg of diazepam for them, but am uncertain as to how well this will work. I've already tried to have the blood tests on 2mg of diazepam and it didn't work at all.
I also have some zopiclone at home (7.5mg). Would taking one or two tablets of that work better? thanks in advance.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Diazepam 10 mg should help to reduce anxiety.
You should not take Zopiclone. It helps in sleep but is not likely to help in anxiety.
If you often get anxious or terrified about various situations or if your anxiety is affecting your work and personal life, you should see a psychiatrist.
I hope this answers your question.
