Hello Rachael,
Welcome To Health Magic Care. I understand your concern.
First of all I want to congratulate you for your
pregnancy. Secondly, regarding your question I would like to say that Zubsolv belongs to the drugs which are classified under pregnancy category C. It means that risk is not ruled out: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
Zubsolv should be used in pregnancy only if the possible benefits obtained from taking the drug, outweighs the possible risk to the unborn baby.
My recommendation, at this point, would be to try to reach your prescribing doctor and discuss the benefit/ risks for you and your baby. Not knowing your actual condition, I couldn't suggest you to quit the drug.
Apart that, Zubsolv shouldn't be stopped taking suddenly, because you may experience
withdrawal symptoms including anxiety; diarrhea; fever, runny nose, or
sneezing,
nausea,
vomiting, shivering etc.
Hoping I answered to your question. If you have further concerns, feel free to ask again.
