Can Zyprexa Cause Depression?

Thank you for taking the time. One year ago I was prescribed Zypexa, I was on it from April 2015 till Aug 1, 2015. I had to come off of it due to increased depression. I suspect I never should have been prescribed this drug in the first place. I don t have schizophrenia, bi-polar, or hallucinate, yet the psychiatric nurse practitioner thought she would prescribe this due to that fact I had been on many SSRI s and SNRI s with no luck. Due to the side effect of worsening depression, and increased anxiety. I made the mistake of coming off the drug cold turkey, and depression and anxiety exploded, and had to be hospitalized. I was hospitalized from Aug, 6, 2015 till Sept 3, 2015. I was discharged on 300mg of effexor, 3mg of ativan, 3mg of prazosin and 10mg of ambien. I have a lot to say about my experiences on these drugs since then. But, my fear is that the Zyprexa I was on, may have done some permanent brain damage, because I haven t been the same since.
