Can ZzzQuil Be Taken After A Concussion?

Is it safe to use zquill 2 days after a concussion occurred? I was using it 5 days a week to help me fall asleep before the injury, I’m headache free my second day, and did not take any pain meds today, only on the first day of injury I took Tylenol. I fell, hit my head, blacked out a minute and broke my nose.

Hi. welcome to 'Ask A Doctor service' . I have read your question and here is my advice.

If you do not have any headache ,confusion, drowsiness , you can start it. Though its use should not be encouraged and you should apply sleep hygiene and try more to sleep without pills.
