Can A CPAP Mask Help Me Manage My Sleep Apnea?

Hi. I have gone through a sleep test and I have been diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea. However, I realise that during one of my episodes of waking up gasping for breath at night, I realise I burp and belch as well. An ENT has also diagnosed me with GERD. Could these be related and is a CPAP mask an answer for my sleep apnea if it is?

hello,
welcome to HCM
i want to tell you that GERD is found in most of the SLEEP APNEA patient though no relation has been found till today.
now about the treatment-
first treatment is weight reduction.
CPAP is the main line of treatment in major degree as it provides nearly 100% oxygen.
for severe degree a surgery named uvulopalatopharyngoplasty is done.
for your GERD you can take PPI+DOMPERIDON combination and some lifestyle modification.
hope this will help you.regards.
