Can A Tattoo On The Food Damage The Nervous System?

I am wondering if you can get nerve damage in your hand from a tattoo on your foot? I got a tattoo on my foot on Thursday and ever since then my left thumb and index finger have been tingling/numb. I was leaning on my arm/hand during the procedures which could also be it but because it's been four days I'm concerned the tattoo caused damage.

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

I would keep a possibility of nerve compression while you were leaning on your arm/hand, getting a tattoo.

It should recover on its own within a few days but it is advisable to take an oral B-complex vitamin for a few days to help the nerve recover.

take care
regards
