Can A Baby Survive With A Hole And Fluid In Her Heart ?

my daughter is 24wks.preg. has had type one diabetes for 20 yrs during her ultrasound today she found out the the baby has fluid around the heart and a hole in her heart. What kind of outcome does the baby have?

hi dear,
it looks like a small ventricilar septal defect and in case of small defect ,there is no deleterious effects on pregnancy , does she was having any evidence of infection during her first trimester .
let me know the repeted ultrasound result and have opinion from paedritic cardiologist.
