Can A Bed Rest Cause Foot Pain And Calf Discomfort?

I was in the hospital Oct15-17 and discharged with my second TIA. Last one was Jan 2014. Monday I had unexplained foot pain, right foot. That went away and yesterday and today I have calf discomfort. It now feels like its in the lower part of my thigh [frontal]. Oh course my thought wander to perhps its a clot . Should I be concerned or perhaps its from being tired and in bed a few day?

Hello,

The pain in the foot which has been moving upwards to involve your thigh makes me worry about a clot.

In my practice, I would send you for a doppler ultrasound to check if you have a clot in that leg.
