Hi,
Cat scratch does cause lymph node swelling if there is some infection at the site or repeated scratching can cause this problem after long time.
But as there is no such history and as this is since long time there can be another cause of having enlarged tender neck lymph nodes like throat infection, some chronic infection on scalp, dandruff, ear infection.
Consult your doctor and discuss about this.
Ok and take care.
