Can A Cataract Surgery Be Done While On Sizodon And Diabetes Medication?

Hi my mother has been prescribed sizodon 0.5 mg one tabe every night for a week. she is 70 years old. she is also taking medicines for diabetes and cholesterol. she was due for her cataract surgery next week. is it ok to continue with our plan to do cataract surgery for her? i also want to know whethet this medicine has to be continued life long.
