Can A Contraceptive Pill Cause False Positive In A Pregnancy Test Result?

Hi doc I want to ask a question about my situation .i have 4 months baby my last period was feb.16 and 18 in the morning I took the Bgap contraceptive and now I do a pregnancy test and the result was positive so I m wondering how possible the result but until now I don t feel any sign of pregnant.

Contraceptive pills do not cause false positive results.

You can go for a beta hCG test for confirmation as it is the specific and confirmatory test for pregnancy.
