Can A Diabetic Take Vyvanse?

1) Can diabetics take Vyvanse? 2) I found a post of a woman who claims her blood sugar went out of control after starting on Vyvanse and became a type 1 diabetic. She also claims she tested her co-worker, who also takes Vyvanse, and his blood sugar was 4 times higher than it should be. Her theory was...Vyvanse causes diabetes. How could this be possible?

Hello sir/madam
welcome to HCM

Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is an amphetamine commonly used for ADHD treatment

It has several side effects with Gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g nausea , vomiting , anorexia etc ) most frequent and cardiovascular problems most serious.
But no proper study or clinical trial supports claim made by that lady.

Regards
Dr.Shah
