Can A Dislocated Hip Be Treated Without Surgery?

I was laying in bed one night and heard my hip cracking and then it popped out of socket. Can it be treated without and operation. It hurts very bad in the mornings but I manage to get a hot shower and put Ben Gay on it. I can walk and go about my day.

Firstly, get an X-ray done and take an Orthopaedician's opinion. You could worsen the condition if it's a fracture and you aren't taking care of it. Don't delay treatment, it could get worse. The form of treatment will be based on your X-ray diagnosis
