Can A Fall From The Stairs Result In Internal Injury For 14-month-olds?

My 14 month old baby fell down the flight of stairs on the concrete today.cried more like he was scared. Seems like he is fine , only minor scratch on the head, arm and side. Although he was quite warm before bed. Is this a sign that something inside could be wrong? Should I be concerned?

it can cause internal injury. keep the boy under observation to rule out head injury and bony fracture. it is not linked to fall. get the child examined by pediatrician for examination and opinion regarding symptoms of internal injury.
